Codimite Annual Trip 2024

My journey to Nuwara Eliya with Codimite has been nothing short of amazing! It was my first trip with the team, and every moment was filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. The excitement was palpable as we gathered early at the office, all ready for the adventure ahead. Spirits were high as we sang songs together, setting a fun and lively tone for the day. From the early morning start to the fun-filled bus ride and our exploration of beautiful landscapes, every moment felt like a celebration of camaraderie and joy.

Our journey began with a refreshing stop at a charming café in Avisawella. Here, we were greeted by the soothing sights and sounds of a picturesque waterfall and a lovely pond filled with colorful fish. The morning air was fresh, and as we sipped on our coffee, we shared laughs and excitement about the adventure ahead. It was the perfect way to kick off our journey, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

As we hit the road again, the bus became an instant dance floor! The energy was electric as we moved to the music, laughing and cheering each other on. Dancing in the aisle, we lost ourselves in the music, feeling pure joy with each step. This wasn’t just a bus ride; it was a rolling party, a celebration of togetherness and anticipation.

After a scenic drive, we checked into the buffet at Araliya Green City Hotel. Sharing a delicious lunch with everyone was such a wonderful experience. The food was delightful, and the atmosphere made it even more special.

Post-lunch, we explored the hotel and captured the moment with a mix of silly and scenic shots. Every corner had us laughing and posing, making for some truly unique memories.

The next morning, we were ready to explore Hortain Plains, a place that felt like stepping into a new world. From the first few steps, we couldn’t stop taking photos of the breathtaking views. Walking in teams, we laughed, talked, and marveled at the beauty surrounding us. It felt as though we had entered a world where time slowed down just for us. While embracing the natural beauty around us, we encountered a variety of stunning animals like lizards, crabs, butterflies, deer, and many more along the hike. The highlight? A grand group photo that captures the essence of this incredible place and our shared adventure.

After the tirig but exciting hike, many went straight for the hotel pool for a well deserved relaxation.

After a day of exploring, I treated myself to a cozy coffee by the heater, taking a quiet moment to unwind. I felt rejuvenated, reflecting on the day’s adventures with a warm drink in hand. Nighttime was party time! We played Uno, danced, and took countless pictures with project mates. The energy was contagious, and I loved every minute spent with my teammates.

The night party was simply unforgettable! The music was booming, the lights were dazzling, and we were all in high spirits. I danced with my teammates, lost in the rhythm, cheering each other on, and laughing till our sides hurt. The energy on the dance floor was out of this world! From classic moves to spontaneous, joyful dances, everyone joined in, making the night feel like an epic celebration. We were unstoppable like a big, happy family dancing the night away.

On our last day, we explored the lush gardens of Araliya Green Hotel, where we admired the vibrant flowers and unique trees. The natural beauty around us was perfect for one last round of photos, and we didn’t hold back! The gardens offered a tranquil space to reflect on the journey, capturing each moment under the morning sun.

As we headed back, we shared stories, laughed, and joked around, savoring the last moments of this fantastic trip. Each of us felt a bit reluctant to leave behind the fun and memories we had created. If only the trip could have lasted a bit longer… This was an experience I’ll always treasure, one that bonded us as a team and filled my heart with joy.

This experience in Nuwara Eliya has left me with beautiful memories and a stronger bond with my Codimite family.
